Jennifer Hawkins plans to ‘auction’ a number of her dazzling gowns for charity

Jennifer Hawkins recently claimed she has ‘rejected’ the celebrity lifestyle, preferring to stay grounded with a sense of ‘humility’ and ‘gratitude’.

And now, the 34-year-old Jbronze founder has announced she will sell off a number of her dazzling designer dresses to fundraise for charity.

Speaking to WHO magazine on Thursday, the former Miss Universe winner said 300 pieces would go up for sale, ready for budding fashionistas to snap up.

‘The sale is a really fun way to make a difference,’ the former host of Australia’s Next Top Model said, explaining the proceeds will go to the Salvation Army.

Jennifer added fans would be able to pick up steals from upscale designers like Alex Perry and Toni Maticevski, as well as Acne Studios.

It’s believed high-end pieces including jewellery and designer shoes will also be up for grabs, with fans able to imitate a number of looks from the former Miss Universe.

‘Not only can you pick up some designer clothes for a great price, but you can feel good knowing your money is going towards a good cause,’ she said.

The online auction will start on Saturday, July 14, from 8pm and will go until Thursday at 8pm – with bidding available here.

It comes after the blonde beauty revealed last month that she rejects the high-life, instead saying she likes to keep things simple.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in June, the entrepreneurial model was candid when discussing her life.

‘I don’t really live that celebrity lifestyle, that celebrity world,’ she told the publication.

‘I don’t live like I’m hiding from people…Who I am is who I am,’ Jennifer explained.

In the interview, the leggy beauty said she likes to retain a sense of ‘humility,’ and is ‘grateful’ for the life she is living.
