John Terry and Robbie Keane try and keep up with heavyweight Dillian Whyte ‘lifting serious weights’

John Terry and Robbie Keane have been shown how to lift ‘serious weights’ by professional heavyweight Dillian Whyte during a training session at The Campus in Portugal.

Terry, who is currently without a club, and Keane, who is playing for Indian side ATK, were working on their fitness when Whyte rocked up and showed them how its done.

The heavyweight has been calling out Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder since Saturday night’s fight between Fury and Francesco Pianeta, which the ‘Gypsy King’ won comfortable on points.

Sharing in an image of the trio on Instagram, former Chelsea and Aston Villa captain John Terry said: ‘Me and Robbie thought we was smashing the weights until the big man come in and starting lifting some serious weights.’

The three sporting stars were working out at The Campus, which is a state of the art facility in southern Portugal for athletes and those looking for professional training.

John Terry is keeping up his fitness as he decides where the next step in his career will be having left Villa at the end of last season.

He had been dubbed to join Sky Sports as a pundit, but took to Instagram last month to dispel rumours he was retiring from the game.

Meanwhile, Keane is currently playing in the Indian League, which is yet to kick off for the new campaign.

The Irish forward joined ATK in August last year and scored six goals in nine matches for his new side as they narrowly avoided relegation.

While those two footballing icons are coming to the end of their playing careers, Dillian Whyte is still in his prime.

Over the weekend he has called out heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and former unified champion, Fury.

Whyte, who beat Joseph Parker last month, responded to Fury’s claims he’s a coward by saying: ‘Unlike you I’ll fight anyone.

‘You refused to fight me as I knocked you down so many times in sparring and if you pull out in November with yet another fake injury I’m more than happy to take your place and smash up that other coward Tony Bellew.’

Whyte looks set to miss out on the big clash for now with Fury and Wilder set to face off later this year.
