Josh Peck films reunion with Drake Bell at MTV VMAs

Josh Peck and Drake Bell have officially smoothed things over.

The former Drake & Josh co-stars had a falling out back in June, when Josh failed to invite his 31-year-old friend to his wedding to Paige O’Brien.

But the 30-year-old reunited with his disgruntled co-star at last Sunday’s 2017 MTV VMAs.

Reunited and it feels so good… Josh Peck and Drake Bell have officially smoothed things over, reuniting at last Sunday’s 2017 MTV VMAs

In a video posted to Josh’s YouTube channel on Thursday, the Grandfathered actor filmed himself sneaking up on Drake backstage at the awards show.

‘Holy s***!’ responds the surprised actor after spotting Josh beside him. ‘What’s up, buddy?’

Josh then responds by wrapping an affectionate arm around Drake’s shoulders and planting a kiss on the side of his forehead.

The pair appeared to be visibly emotional, albeit happy to see each other following their public feud.

They were seen reuniting again later in the evening.

‘It just feels right,’ Drake tells the camera of being back with his longtime friend.

Having patched up their differences, Drake was later seen paying Josh a visit at his home in LA.

‘This is about a friendship that needed just a little bit of TLC,’ Josh explains in the video.

Standing alongside Drake, the pair once again put on a united front, with their arms wrapped around each other.

‘It’s all love, always has been love…’ begins Josh, before his friend, vlogger David Dobrik interrupts.

‘And the wedding was pretty great,’ admits David.

‘David, Jesus Christ!’ responds Josh, as Drake looks on with a slightly hurt expression, before the camera cuts out.

Clearly upset by the snub, Drake called out his friend in a series of fiery tweets in the days following the wedding.

‘The message is clear… Loyalty is key… ALWAYS remember where you came from,’ he wrote.

But speaking to ET Online in July, Drake later admitted he had some regrets about lashing out at Josh on social media.

‘We’ve been together 18 years, Josh and me, me and Josh,’ he explained.

‘We’ve been so close, it was just one of those things where you know, I’d been talking to him, and he’s been telling me about the engagement. And then I saw on social media, the wedding, and I didn’t hear about it. So, it was just one of those things where it was just like, “You didn’t even tell me?! I had to find out on social media?”‘

‘And then you’re like, “You know what!? Fine!” and then I’m like, wait, I probably shouldn’t have done that.’

Following their reunion, both men took to their respective Instagram accounts to share photos with one another, including one of them sharing an emotional embrace backstage at the awards show.
