Jurors are shown harrowing final moments of Holby City star’s daughter

Ceon Broughton (arriving at Winchester Crown Court today) denies manslaughter and supplying a class A drug

Jurors were today shown harrowing footage of Holby City actor John Michie’s daughter hallucinating after a drug overdose and ending with her lifeless body on the ground.

The 50-minute video was shot by Ceon Broughton, Louella Fletcher-Michie’s rapper boyfriend, who allegedly supplied her with party drug 2C-P and left her to die at the Bestival music festival.

Clips show the 24-year-old on her back with bloodied hands, screaming for her mother and father, trying to eat thorns and hitting and slapping herself.

Broughton, 29, can be heard telling Louella, ‘sort yourself out, battle through it’, ‘shut up, shut up’ and ‘you can’t show [your family] this’.

Broughton filmed part of the video in selfie mode – talking to the camera and playing with a fidget spinner.

Prosecutors say grime star Broughton could have saved Louella if he had sought medical help – but he failed to do so because he was afraid of being arrested.

Jurors at Winchester Crown Court were today first shown footage of Louella ‘tripping’ on the class A substance.

Throughout she shouts incoherent sentences, yells ‘Dad I love you’ and calls ‘Mum’ around 80 times as Broughton films her on his iPhone.

What Holby City star’s daughter said in tragic video ‘filmed by her rapper boyfriend’

During the long video, Louella begins to hit and slap herself on her legs.

She can be heard saying: ‘Magical monkey riding the forest, what’s real is real.. Woah, this is mad.

‘If my mum sees she will say brap! My mum and my grandma, this is love… I want to show my brother.

‘This is what I do at festivals, getting wavey. I’m so f*****g happy, this is the happiest I have ever been.

‘Call my mum now I’m not even joking. Don’t go telling me to go home to sleep, right now I have f****g powers. ‘I’m seeing colourful taxis, this is why I go to festivals.’

At times, Louella talks about her family and shouts ‘dad I love you’.

She says: ‘Mum I love you, mum I had a good trip. Dad I love you. ‘Call my mum right now I ain’t even joking, call my mum right now… Call my f*****g mum, bruv. ‘

Broughton says: ‘This is between me and you.. This is for us, d******d. This is personal.’ ‘You can’t show [Louella’s family] this.’ ‘Sort yourself out bro, battle through the ting.’

In the disturbing clip, she repeatedly says ‘this is the best trip I’ve ever f*****g had’.

Louella also shouts sentences including ‘I’m seeing colourful taxis’ and ‘magical monkey riding the forest’.

He began recording the video in a forest at the Bestival site at 5.53pm on September 10, 2017.

Around five hours later, Louella was dead.

A court heard yesterday Broughton made several more recordings of Louella as her condition severely worsened instead of seeking medical help.

In one distressing audio clip from 8.49pm, Louella no longer sounds capable of saying words and instead just makes high-pitched noises and appears to start eating thorns.

Broughton can be heard saying ‘Louella it’s me’ before beginning to laugh.

He then says: ‘Stop eating thorns, you are just going to cut your beautiful f*****g skin.’

Jurors were also shown ‘live’ iPhone images of Louella’s last moments.

The moving images taken at 10.41pm show her bloodied hands while moving images taken at 11.24pm and 11.25pm show her lying lifeless on her back on the ground.

The court has heard the hospital area on the festival grounds in Lulworth Castle, Dorset, was a mere 400 metres away but Broughton made no attempt to take her there for medical assistance.

What is the 2C-P drug?

Hallucinogenic drug 2C-P has been described as having a similar effect as LSD, also known as acid.

Users are likely to experience a distorted view of reality and objects and will see and hear things that are not really there.

2C-P is in the 2C family of drugs and because it is a stimulant, it can make users feel alert and awake. The drugs, which can be smoked or snorted, also affect emotions.

At high doses, people can feel confused, agitated and in some cases propelled into a delirious state. The charity added that the drugs may cause panic attacks and in some cases ‘acute psychosis’.

Broughton allegedly gave pretty Louella a ‘bumped up’ dose of 2C-P and even filmed her after she died, just one hour before her 25th birthday.

Louella’s father, Holby and former Coronation Street star Mr Michie, 62, made a 130-mile dash from his north London home after his wife Carol Fletcher heard Louella ‘screeching’ on the phone.

Prosecutor William Mousley, QC, said Broughton, who has recorded with rap artists Skepta and Wiley, didn’t seek medical help as he ‘didn’t want to be arrested’ as he was serving a suspended sentence.

He said Broughton ignored desperate pleas from her parents telling him to take her to medics.

Broughton, from Enfield, London, denies manslaughter and supplying a class A drug.

The trial continues.
