Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough’s wedding day guest list has suffered several causalities in recent days; with the likes of James packer and Kyle Sandilands pulling out at the last minute.
Now, it’s been claimed that the soon-to-be-wed couple have prepared a ‘reserve guest list’ to fill up seats on their big day.
According to The Daily Telegraph’s Annette Sharp, Karl and Jasmine ‘expected some guests to decline their invitations, prompting the couple to draft a list of ‘firsts’ and ‘reserves’.’

Surprisingly, Georgie Gardner reportedly only managed to land herself on the ‘reserves’ list, despite working side-by-side with Karl on the Today five days a week.
‘[She] was given a late call-up after first invitations went out months ago,’ Sharp reported.
‘The decision to knock back the invitation was therefore an easy one for Gardner to make,’ she added.

Indeed, last week Nine Network released an official statement confirming she wouldn’t be attending the wedding as she already had ‘prior commitments’.
‘He did [invite her] and has previously been reported she has family commitments and holidays previously planned,’ the spokesperson said.
It comes months after a leaked phone conversation between Karl and his brother Peter while riding in an Uber made headlines.

In March, New Idea magazine published details of Peter and Karl’s now-infamous phone call, which was apparently ‘overheard’ by an Uber driver.
According to the publication, Karl vented to his brother that Georgie was too ‘neutral’ and accused his new Today co-host of ‘sitting on the fence’.
The driver recalled: ‘He said she didn’t have enough opinions and he wanted her to step up. He actually sounded angry and said he was going to start pushing hard and that she needed to do that if she wanted to stay on the show.’
