Talking about the situation, Katie admitted: ‘All I know is someone who’s parading around about mental health and he’s trying to make out I’m mad, saying that he hasn’t sent me messages, it’s like pot-kettle.
She defiantly continued: ‘What is it? Kettle-pot? Pot-kettle? That’s exactly what he’s doing – trying to make me feel mental that I’m making the whole thing up when I’m so not.’

‘He’s slagging Olivia off and everything. For someone who has only had five minutes of fame and has only got two and a half minutes left, they should pipe down.’
Meanwhile, in the same publication, Chris stood united with Olivia as she branded Katie’s behaviour ‘disgusting.’
She admitted: ‘Me and Chris are strong. We trust each other completely. I’ve never been with a guy who I can trust and rely on like I can Chris. There was never a part of me that doubted him.’

He added: ‘It’s been very stressful and emotionally draining. I feel like I’m being bullied. It’s not easy to have people thinking I’ve lied. The whole thing feels really nasty’.
‘Either the messages are from someone pretending to be me, or Katie has made them up because she’s embarrassed that I posted the flirty messages she sent me and wants to make me look bad.’

Ruth then retorted: ‘You showed us lots of texts from him.’ Eamonn then chimed: ‘As a man, I just saw a lot of texts, not inappropriate texts. There’s a lot of texts from him, or someone using his name.’
Katie added: ‘I actually don’t even care. It’s so pathetic. I don’t care if you did send them or you didn’t. Just don’t call me a liar when I’m not. He’s just getting himself in a rut and he doesn’t know how to get himself out of it.’
Last week, Katie claimed she has received messages from a friend of Chris’ which allege that he has been ‘bragging’ about the texts he sent her.
The former glamour model revealed to The Sun that she was sent messages by a friend close to the ITV2 star on Instagram which claimed that he had been chatting with other women, despite being in a serious relationship with Olivia.
In the social media messages obtained by the publication, the friend apologised for Chris’ behaviour.
The pal said: ‘I know Chris and he’s bragged to the lads about some of the messages he’s sent you as well as you sent him, sorry he’s been a belter of a d***head towards you!
‘Don’t say I said anything though but I know he’s messaged a few different girls and Liv won’t listen.’
