Kendall Jenner has revealed some of her must-have beauty products, as well as some of her top makeup tips she has gathered after years in the modelling industry.

Despite the 23-year-old reality TV star and model regularly being pampered by experts in hair and beauty, Kendall revealed that she has some everyday favorites of her own.

A lightweight foundation and a hydrating chap-stick are among the stunning model’s go-to products.

Speaking to Allure, Kendall revealed that if she could only use one makeup item, it would be a Giorgio Armani Face Fabric foundation, which retails for $49.

Talking about the product, the star said: ‘It’s a little tube and it’s so light. You feel like you can breathe and like you don’t even have anything on.

‘Most of the time when I’m wearing it people are like, “Are you even wearing makeup?” It’s really great,’ she said.

Despite having two sisters with their own makeup ranges – Kim’s KKW Beauty and Kylie’s Kylie Cosmetics – Kendall did not choose to highlight either among her top beauty products.

But the model, who spends a large quantity of her life nowadays on the road between different countries and states, did note that she always keeps a hydrating lip balm close at hand.

‘I always need a good Chapstick, you know you get dry in the air. I have the Avene Cold Cream Lip Cream in the squeeze tube,’ she said.

The lip cream retails for $16.00 and is described as ‘an emollient lip cream for instant comfort and protection’.

When it comes to Kendall’s skin, which she revealed she has struggled with for a number of years, she said that she takes good care of it.

Explaining her skincare struggle, she said: ‘I’ve had an ongoing battle with it, so it’s a constant thing for me, but I’m in a good place right now, which is awesome.’

The model, who said she probably has the best skincare routine out of all of the Kardashian sisters, said that she uses a ProactivMD set, which retails for $40, to take care of her skin.

Kendall was – rather controversially – named as the brand’s newest spokesperson last month, when she opened up about her ongoing struggles with acne in a TV ad for the skincare label.

Interestingly at the time there was some speculation that she had never actually used the products, however she seems keen to dispel those rumors by insisting ProactivMD is a key part of her beauty routine.

She said: ‘I always wash my face in the morning and at night. I have an obsession with keeping my face clean and feeling clean.

‘I use ProactivMD which is basically a face wash, and then an acne fighting advanced retinoid, which is new for them and something that’s never been sold over the counter before, and then a moisturizer with some SPF in it.’

Kendall, who regularly appears on Keeping Up With The Kardashians on E! also revealed that she recently bought a face roller to decrease puffiness in the face, after using one during a recent photo shoot.

As well as her favorite products, the 23-year-old revealed some tricks she has picked up working with professional makeup artist Mary Phillips.

‘I die for Mary,’ she said about the artist, ‘she is a genius at contouring and making your face look alive and fresh and glowy.

‘We actually collabed on this highlighter trick. We combine a creamy highlighter with the powder highlighter on top just to make me extra highlighter-y, we’re glowing over here.

‘I think that skin is half the battle when it comes to doing makeup, maybe this relates to me having skin issues occasionally. Like, if your skin isn’t on point then it doesn’t really matter what eye you have, you know what I mean?’ she added.

Some of Kendall’s favorite looks she has recently sported include her neon green makeup looks from New Years Eve and the People’s Choice Awards.

She explained: ‘I loved my New Year’s look with my neon green eyeliner. And also my look at People’s Choice Awards.

‘I was wearing an all black outfit but a bright neon-green eye, with stripes and dots around [it]. No makeup otherwise.

‘I had no other eyeshadow or anything. I don’t even think I wore mascara. I’m really into green these days…I’m just drawn to it. I don’t know what’s happening,’ she said.

However, when it comes to her hair, Kendall isn’t as adventurous.

She revealed that her hair stylist Jen Atkins usually wants Kendall to try something ‘wild’, however, the model likes to remain more low-key with her locks.

‘[Jen] wants me to look so bomb every day and I’m just like, I’m tired. I’m going to get a coffee.

‘I want to put my hair in a ponytail. I’ve never been a hair expert, but Jen has helped. I’m still learning,’ she added.

Despite living a glamorous life as she travels the world with her modelling career, Kendall revealed that she regularly struggles with different aspects of fame, including dealing with online trolls.

She told the publication: ‘I have cried endlessly for days because of things people have said to me, and I’ve had to become stronger through it.

‘I mean, don’t get me wrong: I am not superhuman. I definitely feel, and the things people say online are very hurtful,’ she continued.

She also opened up about the hate she received when she showed up at the 2018 Golden Globes with an acne flare up.

‘It was probably a once in a lifetime thing for me to go to the Golden Globes (in 2018). I don’t know if I’ll ever go again, ’cause that’s not usually my event to go to, you know?

‘And so I went and I was super excited about it, and I’m not gonna let something so little (and big) as acne stop me.

‘I was feeling good about myself, and then when people say mean things I’m like, “I know I have a zit. I know I’m breaking out. You guys don’t have to keep pointing it out. I obviously see that, but let me live”,’ she added.

However, the 23-year-old has learned how to combat the negativity.

She said: ‘You also just have to live your life and not pay attention to it. I think it can get pretty unhealthy if you really are deep in it and paying attention to it all the time.

‘I think that that’s what can really mess you up,’ she added.
