Kim Kardashian is deemed ‘broken’ by Jameela Jamil for constantly ‘fixing’ her looks

She made headlines last month, after daring to blast social media powerhouse Kim Kardashian for her promotion of appetite suppressants and weight loss.

And Jameela Jamil, 32, has addressed her decision to speak out — revealing that she battled anorexia as a teen — and also surmised that Kim, 37, and her famous sisters are likely ‘broken’ women, explaining their need to constantly ‘fix’ themselves.

The Good Place star told Stylist magazine of the famous siblings: ‘I think they’re broken by this industry. I bet [Kim] went through all the same s**t I did. She keeps fixing and fixing but there’s nothing to fix. She clearly can’t see what she looks like, none of them can see what they look like. I just feel sad for them.’

London-born Jameela also addressed the backlash she received from speaking out against the mother-of-three’s social media posts, insisting that it was more important to stand against ‘patriarchal messaging’ than pander to popular opinion.

‘I get so much s**t any time I ever criticise any woman,’ she said. ‘I don’t even think [said] women are aware it’s happening, they just see money and fame and they’re not taking a minute to… see the influence they have. I take it maybe too seriously but I take it very seriously because I got very f**ked up by this stuff when I was younger.’

However, the British beauty — who is now based in Los Angeles — is eager to let it be known that her public statements have never come from a place of hatred.

‘I definitely felt a pain in my heart because I’m in the papers for criticising another woman,’ she explained. ‘[But] I have grown more from my failures than my successes because people have called me out when I f**ked things up. I do it out of love; I would never envy them, or feel that way about myself the way that they do.’

Last month, Jameela hit out at Kim after she shared a post on Twitter on how to maximise weight loss’.

Sharing the tweet, the presenter-turned-actress questioned: ‘How do we minimize this woman’s bulls***?’

She also commented that the ‘whole family’ made her ‘feel sad’, adding: ‘All the money and fame in the world can’t make you stop hating your nose, your lips, your a***, your weight, your skin’.

It came after the British actress previously described Kim as ‘terrible and toxic influence’ for promoting an appetite suppressing lollipop – leading the star to delete the advert.

Jameela took issue with Kim’s post on ‘How I maximize fat loss’, which advertised the reality star’s weekly cardio workouts.

Sharing the post, the actress wrote: ‘How do we minimize this woman’s bulls**?

‘When will she just love herself and stop obsessing about how to “fix” problems that were never there?

‘She was always beautiful. She’s never seen it because she is broken by the SAME society that she now contributes more toxicity to.’

In a second tweet, Jameela added: ‘This whole family makes me feel sad. All the money and fame in the world can’t make you stop hating your nose, your lips, your arse, your weight, your skin, your age, your SELF.

’10 years we have heard of little more than their obsession with looks and how to fix “imperfections.”’

It comes after Jameela led the backlash over an Instagram ad that Kim posted, promoting an appetite suppressing lollipop earlier this month.

Sharing a snap of herself sucking a red lollipop, Kim had written: You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal.

‘They’re giving the first 500 people on their website 15% OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit’

Jameela responded: ‘No. F*** off. No. You terrible and toxic influence on young girls. I admire their mother’s branding capabilities, she is an exploitative but innovative genius, however this family makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to.’

‘MAYBE don’t take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your BRAIN and work hard and be successful. And to play with your kids. And to have fun with your friends. And to have something to say about your life at the end, other than “I had a flat stomach.”‘
