Kyle Richards shocked to learn of Camille Grammer’s cancer

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer previously survived a battle with endometrial cancer.

And Thursday the 49-year-old revealed she’s now been hit with another health blow, having been diagnosed with skin cancer.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Friday, fellow reality TV star Kyle Richards, 48, was audibly shocked when she learned of Camille’s diagnosis.

‘I didn’t even know that,’ Kyle exclaimed when asked about her thoughts on Camille’s new health struggle. ‘Oh my gosh I did not know that. I have to call her.’

She added: ‘That’s horrible’.

Kyle also said that she was willing to be a shoulder to lean on for Camille as she fights against cancer for the second time, explaining the Real Housewives always help each other out.

‘We all support each other through the hard times. Even though we want to strangle each other sometimes, we’re all there for one another,’ she said.

Camille spoke out about her skin cancer diagnosis post surgery on her Instagram account on Thursday.

The reality star, who was previously married to Kelsey Grammer, revealed she’s currently recovering after Dr. Beth Karlan removed the skin cancer cells. 

Gushing about her surgeon and speaking out about her health ordeal on the Instagram post, the brave star wrote: ‘Thank God we found it early. (squamous cell carcinoma).’

She added: ‘Early detection is key. My cancer was removed and I’m resting at home.’

Camille continued by adding a reminder: ‘Ladies listen to your bodies. If something doesn’t seem right go for a checkup. Don’t put it off. Annual check ups are important.’

Page Six spoke to her rep, who said: ‘Camille didn’t feel “right,”‘ adding that ‘she went to her oncologist immediately and had a procedure to remove a small malignancy.’

People reports that about one million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the US; 8,800 people die annually from the disease.

Four years ago Camille battled early stage endometrial cancer; the reality star had a radical hysterectomy, according to People.  

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season eight premieres on hayu from 20th December, same day as the US.
