Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has held a number of job titles over his career to date.
And now there’s a chance that the KIIS FM radio host could add a new and unexpected role to his resumé: Minister.
Speaking to Gladys Berejiklian on The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Friday, Kyle was given an unexpected thumbs up to run for parliament by the NSW Premier herself.

The ball got rolling when Kyle asked Gladys: ‘Can I be police minister?’
After some laughing from his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, the NSW Premier gave a surprisingly positive answer.
‘Kyle you know what, we have a very thriving democracy and you’re quite a popular person,’ Gladys said.

She then explained: ‘If you ran for parliament and then, you know, worked hard then the Premier of the day might very well promote you to that role.’
Not sounding particularly keen on the work involved, Kyle jokingly tried to jump the line by asking Gladys to pull some strings.
Laughing at Kyle’s response, Gladys played along with the joke and encouraged him and Jackie O to keep emailing their ‘suggestions’ to her.

The shock jock revealed on-air this week that his girlfriend Imogen Anthony fat-shamed him.
Kyle said that the model called him a ‘soccer ball on legs.’
A non-plussed Jackie O replied with a lighthearted joke: ‘You’ve only just realised this?’
