‘Today we are doing my Italian bolognese sauce,’ Kyly proudly announced. ‘Now I know there are lots of recipes out there and you’re probably already using my recipe, but for those people that haven’t seen it yet, welcome to the show.’

Getting down to business, Kyly then ties her hair back before exclaiming; ‘hair is up, let’s get serious. Let’s rock this.’

It’s not necessary to have any prerequisite kitchen knowledge to do bolognese Kyly’s way either, as the cricket WAG leaves no stone un-turned – going through the utensils needed in the recipe and their purpose – from cutting boards to spatulas.

When divulging the ingredients that make up this sublime concoction, Kyly says a secret that would be in the arsenal of any Australian working mother – a jar of pasta sauce.

‘You’ll need 500 grams of any kind of pasta sauce,’ Kyly admits.

She adds: ‘I particularly like to chose red wine and garlic so, if you want to do the recipe exactly as i do, it doesn’t matter what the brand is, just as long as it’s red wine and garlic.’

As she waits for her pasta and bolognese to come to the boil, Kyly waxes lyrical about her passion for cooking, revealing she used to fantasise about having her own cooking show.

‘When  I was little I absolutely loved being in the kitchen and mum would start to teach me how to cook things and obviously i had no idea whatsoever what I was doing but I actually pretended I had a cooking show,’ she says.

‘So I was like “so you put one tablespoon of this in here and then just mix it and this is what we’re going to do.” It’s so funny because now I’m showing you guys how to cook.’
