Las Vegas police released the surveillance footage showing the shocking moment an armed wig-wearing robber pulled off a heist at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino’s poker cage.
The incident happened around 4pm on Tuesday local time when the man approached a poker cage and demanded an unspecified amount of money from the employee inside.
The video begins by showing the suspect’s car, a silver Chevrolet Cruze with Nevada license plate 37D147, pulling into the hotel’s driveway.
It then cuts to showing the suspect, who is wearing a blonde wig, a mask covering half of his face and beanie hat, walk inside the casino while holding a white bag.

The man passes several tables on the casino floor before making it to the poker cage.
The surveillance footage then shows him approaching the poker cage where an attendant is standing and leaning over the counter with the white bag visible in his left hand. His right hand could not be seen in the clip.
The person standing to the suspect’s left moves a tray full of casino chips away from him.
The video then shows the suspect interacting with the person behind the counter inside the poker cage, who then starts handing him wads of money that he stuffs inside the white bag.

After obtaining a few bundles of cash, the suspect then walks away from the cage before he starts running through the casino and fleeing out of the same doors that he entered from.
He eventually makes it to his car and speeds off the property.
Police described the gunman as white male in his 30s and about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 tall.
No one suffered any injuries during the brazen robbery.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police released the footage of the robbery in hopes of someone recognizing the suspect who is still on the run.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. John Pelletier said on Tuesday that another person accompanied the robber inside of the car.
But Pelletier said it appeared the person was there ‘against his will’ and is cooperating with authorities.
Surprisingly, actor James Woods was inside of the Bellagio at the time of the robbery.
He described the suspect on Twitter: ‘So we are playing poker at the @BellagioPoker and a guy walks up with a gun and robs the cage thirty feet from us ten minutes ago. Bellagio staff were fantastic.
‘They surrendered the money quietly, so no customers would get hurt.
Surprisingly, actor James Woods was inside of the Bellagio (file above) at the time of the robbery.

He added: ‘@Bellagio staff were fantastic. They surrendered the money quietly, so no customers would get hurt. Nobody even realized it was happening. Excellent staff, cool under pressure’
‘So evidently the guy got away,’ added the 70-year-old actor upon hearing that the culprit had escaped
‘The @Bellagio security made a point of not engaging him after the actual robbery to guarantee the safety of their customers,’ Woods said

This is not the first time the famed casino has been robbed. Back in 2010 the Bellagio was robbed by a man who was eventually dubbed the ‘Biker Bandit’.
He wore a motorcycle helmet while stealing $1.5million in chips from the craps pit before fleeing on a motorcycle.
Authorities eventually caught Anthony Carleo, who pleaded guilty and is now serving time behind bars.
