In a clearly sponsored campaign for Milo, the proud parents claimed they were ‘huge fans’ of the chocolate and malt powder drink and regularly served it to their kids.

Lleyton suggested Milo gave him an essential energy boost before matches as a kid, adding: ‘I still find myself reaching for the green and gold tin before a game!’

The pair posed with different sized Milo tins for their separate photos, with Bec’s product valued at $5 and Lleyton’s larger package valued at $8.50.

Fans have been dubious of the ‘#spon’ posts, with their Milo uploads being slammed by some users: ‘so sponsored’ and ‘we all know u ain’t hitting up Milo before a match.’

Others hit back at Lleyton’s advice: ‘Every rising sport star needs a snack that is nearly 50% sugar!’ and ‘so much sugar.’
