Love Island Australia’s Grant explains to UK fans what the Sydney Opera House is

It is one of the world’s most famous landmarks.

But Love Island Australia winner Grant Crapp, 23, made sure to go the extra mile and explain to his international fans what the Sydney Opera House is on Monday.

After sharing a photograph of himself and his manager Max Markson dining against the backdrop of the iconic building, the electrician cleared up any confusion as to where their meeting was taking place.

In the photograph, Grant is pictured engaged in conversation with Max in a hotel lobby across the harbour from the Sydney Opera House.

Although the caption for the post was sponsored by a drinks company he was promoting, the reality TV star went rogue in the comments section.

‘To those asking behind me is the Opera House located in Sydney,’ Grant wrote. (Nobody had asked him).

Many comments urged Grant to visit specific towns and to enjoy his trip.

‘Organising a tour to basically everywhere,’ Grant responded to one fan. ‘I want to meet as many people as possible.’

Earlier this month, Daily Mail Australia revealed the huge amount that the Islanders – including Grant, Eden Dally, Erin Barnett and Cassidy McGill – are making from nightclub appearances.

An industry insider, who has worked with stars of Love Island, Married At First Sight and The Bachelor, said: ‘Nightclub appearances are the easiest way for Australian reality stars to cash in on their fame as soon as their show ends.

‘The average price for this type of work tends to be between $3,000 and $6,000 for a single appearance – but it does vary depending on their relevance, the type of club night and if it’s a solo appearance or with some of their co-stars.’

Although the appearance fee may change per venue, the source added: ‘The price tends to be higher immediately after their show comes off air while interest is at its peak, which explains why the talent often squeeze several PA’s into one weekend.’
