Love Island’s Justin Lacko ‘flees his hotel room and cannot be found’

Newly-eliminated Love Island Australia contestant Justin Lacko has ‘gone missing’ following his elimination from the show, it has been claimed.

On Friday morning, the 27-year-old male model was scheduled for a phone interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show, but it never went ahead.

‘We were supposed to talk to Justin in 10 minutes’ time… and apparently he has gone missing and Channel Nine are furious,’ said Jackie ‘O’ Henderson at around 7:30am.

Co-host Kyle Sandilands, who was furious at Justin’s snub, raged: ‘Who cares [where he’s gone]? He’s probably gone around to find some blokes.

‘The guy’s… I know he’s not gay, but everything about him is gay apart from the fact he wants men. [Look at] the teeth on him!

‘How can you be the best looking guy on earth when you’ve got teeth like a bulldog.’

The speculation about Justin’s sexuality continued during the KIIS FM program, as Jackie remarked: ‘Whether he’s gay or not, I don’t know.’

‘You’re in there to get laid, not in there to be the girls’ BFF,’ Kyle then snapped.

Newsreader Brooklyn Ross, who is openly gay, chimed in: ‘He can’t expect us not to question his sexuality when he just becomes best friends with every girl in there. Like, he really didn’t try at all.’

Jackie added: ‘He did give up very quickly, didn’t he?’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Nine for comment.

It comes after Elias Chigros, who was also eliminated on Thursday’s episode, told Daily Mail Australia that Justin became confrontational when he asked about his ‘camp’ demeanour.

An explosive fight started between the two men, but it was never broadcast on TV.

‘[Justin] kind of really worried me the way he reacted after that comment,’ Elias said. ‘There was a lot of talk about whether he’d be allowed back into the villa after that.’

He added: ‘I’m not going to speculate on his sexuality, but I hope he can come to terms with whatever he has to come to terms with.’

An ITV Studios Australia spokesperson said: ‘Justin was never issued with a production warning about his behaviour during his time in the Villa.’

Justin, who also spoke to Daily Mail Australia after his elimination, insisted he was straight and felt that Elias’ ‘camp’ comment came across as a ‘personal attack’.

‘It was confronting because I didn’t think Elias would say something like that… I left thinking why he of all people would say something like that,’ he added.

Justin said he was ‘just a bloke’ like the rest of the male cast, but that he was ‘not ashamed’ of showing his feminine side.

‘I don’t understand, when I’ve come on to a television show looking for love, why my sexuality would be a topic between any of the Islanders,’ he said.

‘In this day and age, a lot of people do question sexuality. I’m just going to keep doing the same thing. People have asked me that and I’m going to answer it the exact same way, I am straight!’
