‘Cyrell doesn’t care about you, she just wanted to upset me!’ MAFS’ Martha Kalifatidis snaps at Michael Brunelli during an awkward appearance on Talking Married
Martha Kalifatidis still isn’t over her husband Michael Brunelli trying to be friendly with Cyrell Paule at the Married At First Sight reunion dinner party.
During Sunday’s episode of Talking Married, the 30-year-old makeup artist snapped at Michael when he tried to explain why he was speaking with Cyrell despite Martha telling him not to.
‘Cyrell doesn’t care about you, she just wanted to get me upset,’ Martha said sharply, effectively silencing her partner.

Before Martha cut Michael off, he said: ‘I didn’t want to be rude and not talk to Cyrell [at the dinner party], but I knew that Martha didn’t want me to talk to her.’
The Melbourne-based teacher, 27, then said that he believed Cyrell was ‘baiting’ Martha by talking to him while completely ignoring his wife.
Towards the end of the MAFS reunion dinner party, Cyrell turned against Michael and told him he had ‘no balls’ and was too afraid to stand up to his wife.
At that moment, Martha walked over and poured a glass of wine over Cyrell’s head.

Standing up for himself! Before Martha interrupted, Michael said: ‘I didn’t want to be rude and not talk to Cyrell, but I knew that Martha didn’t want me to talk to her’
Reflecting on the incident, Michael said on Talking Married: ‘Honestly, I’m not friends with Cyrell. I respect her for sticking up for her mates, but whatever she says to me, doesn’t affect me.
‘It doesn’t affect what I think of myself and it doesn’t affect what I think of my relationship. She’s said a few things about me online, I’m not going to lower myself.’
Making his feelings clear on the wine throwing incident, Michael added: ‘I’m smiling now, but I don’t support that and Martha is extremely embarrassed.’
Martha added: ‘I know it’s wrong, and I’ve never acted like that, I’ve never been violent or aggressive ever in my life.’
