A man had been arrested at a property in Hurstville after a body was found with two stab wounds at the entrance to a southern Sydney train station.
Horrified commuters made the grisly discovery just after 6am near the Forrest Road Entrance to Hurstville Railway Station, 9NEWS reported.
Police have released a statement confirming that the man, had ‘suffered severe lacerations’.

An ‘edged weapon’ was seized during the arrest, and the man currently in custody is at Kogarah Police Station is said to be assisting with police inquiries.
A large crime scene has been established near the station, which is about 16km south of the city and is part of the St George area.
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that bloodied white sheet covered what is believed to the body of the man – reportedly in his 50s – at the station entrance.
