Man, 38, is arrested at Buckingham Palace on suspicion of possessing a firearm
A man has been arrested at Buckingham Palace on suspicion of possessing a firearm.
The 38-year-old was detained just before 1pm at the visitor entrance when guards noticed he was carrying a Taser.
The Metrolpolitan Police said in a statement: ‘Officers attended and at 1pm a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm, namely a Taser.
‘He remains in custody at a central London police station at this stage.’
