A Florida man staged a marriage proposal that is generating a great deal of publicity after he was seen giving a woman claiming to be his girlfriend six enormous diamond rings to pick from.
Dennis Brown II, 32, dispensed with the engagement ring guessing game when he proposed to a woman who claims to be his fiancee, Atara Dallas, cleverly presenting her with a heart-shaped box containing a half dozen sparklers in a wide variety of shapes and settings.
In posting their lavish engagement photos on Instagram, Brown, a model and actor, wrote that while he hadn’t managed to win six NBA championship rings like Michael Jordan, ‘I won at life with her so she deserves #6 Rings to choose from.’
In the series of photos, Dallas, a teacher and restaurateur, appears barely able to contain her surprise when a sharply-suited Brown gets down on one knee and presents her with the super-sized red ring box containing the six engagement rings.
It is not known if Brown and Dallas are a real couple or they engaged in the photo shoot as a publicity stunt to garner attention for themselves.

On her Facebook page, Dallas describes herself as an entrepreneur in the field of health foods and wellness products
A close-up of the black velvet-lined ring box reveals what appears to be round, emerald, cushion, pear and princess-cut diamonds in a range of simple to ornate settings.
The marriage proposal was elaborately staged.
Brown asked an event-planning company to help pull it off, according to INSIDER.
Dozens of staff were hired to create the scene.
One woman tweeted: ‘Like the man came with SIX rings for her to choose from…I need that energy.’ Another Twitter user tweeted: ‘To the man who proposed with six yes SIX rings for his girl to choose from…honestly good job. I hope this trend catches on’

The team included a photographer, videographer, props designer, florist, makeup artist, hairdresser, drapery expert, assistants, and stylists.
On the wall, Brown ordered a poster on which was printed a romantic message.
Brown is a former professional football player who has turned to a career in modeling and acting. He is seen above during his college days at Norfolk State University in Virginia, where he played quarterback
‘Today, on your special day I had the pleasure of putting a smile on your face all day,’ the message read.
‘For there is no greater gift that I could think to give you.
‘A woman, whose heart is full of love and devotion to me, a woman whose loyalty to all those she loves stands unmatched, a woman whose generosity and willingness to help others around her flourish knows no depths.
‘A woman who single-handedly made me believe that a soulmate, a lover, a prayer warrior, a confidant, and a best friend could be wrapped up in one amazingly beautiful soul that was handcrafted for me.
‘That’s why today I wanted to give you the greatest gift that I could ever give you… my heart and soul completely, unwavering and all yours… will you accept and hold my hand in yours through this journey?’
Brown is a former professional football player who has turned to a career in modeling and acting.
According to VoyageMIA, Brown has appeared on shows including VH1’s Love and Hip-Hop as well as the BET’s Hip-Hop Awards.
He played collegiate football for the University of Connecticut and then transferred to Norfolk State, a Virginia school which competes in the Division I Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Brown was a quarterback.
In 2010, he signed a professional contract with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League, according to Norfolk State University’s athletic department, but it does not appear as if he made the team .
‘I am a former pro athlete that missed out of a long football career,’ Brown said.
‘By understanding that, I used it for motivation and took it to the corporate world and made a name for myself.
‘Conquering that, I felt the need to take the risk and go for it all.’
On her Instagram page, Dallas describes herself as a ‘motivator’ and ‘restaurateur’ who founded a Florida-based juice company.
News of the elaborate proposal went viral on social media, where people were divided. While some thought the gesture was chivalrous, others said proposing with multiple rings is an indication that the man didn’t know his girlfriend well enough to understand what she wanted.
