Marin Cilic comes back to beat Pablo Carreno Busta

  • Sixth seed Marin Cilic is through to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open 
  • Cilic came from one set down to beat Pablo Carreno Busta 6-7, 6-3, 7-6, 7-6  
  • The former semi-finalist struggled to find his range in the first set on Sunday
  • But once the second set arrived, Cilic didn’t look back and grew in confidence 

Marin Cilic is one step closer to only his second ever Australian Open semi-final after beating Pablo Carreno Busta.

Cilic dropped the first set but was relentless in his comeback, taking the next three sets to move into the last eight.

He will play the winner of Rafael Nadal and Diego Schwartzman.
