‘It took seven crews to control the blaze’: MasterChef star Shannon Bennett’s cafe involved in a fire …after his split from partner of 13 years actress Madeleine West
One of Shannon Bennett’s eateries was involved in a fire on Sunday afternoon.
According to The Daily Telegraph, a shed next to Shannon’s Piggery Cafe in Victoria’s Sherbrooke caught fire, but is now ‘under control.’
It’s currently unclear how much damage, if any, was caused to the Piggery Cafe, but it reportedly took seven crews half an hour to get the blaze under control.

The Piggery Cafe is just one of the many successful eateries that MasterChef Australia star Shannon has launched over the years.
The famed celebrity chef made headlines last year after splitting with his partner of 13 years, actress Madeleine West West.
In September, Madeleine told Stellar magazine that having a ‘multitude’ of children put pressure on their relationship, adding that they were striving to ‘reconnect as friends and parents’.
The former couple began dating in 2005, and are parents to Phoenix, 12, Hendrix, 10, Xascha, eight, Xanthe, six, and twins Xalia and Margaux, four.

He’s since become one of the country’s most recognised chefs, scoring endorsement deals with brands like Audi and Nespresso in the process.
MasterChef Australia will return for its eleventh season later this year, although it’s currently unknown if Shannon will be part of it.
