Mat Rodgers and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis strip on Australian Survivor

It’s the Australian reality show that pits Champions against Contenders to see who can outwit, outplay and outlast the rest.

But on Monday night, fans of the Australian Survivor copped an eyeful when some of Australia’s best known athletes stripped down to their speedos.

During the episode, Contenders were faced with the prospect of winning immunity, with host Jonathan LaPaglia, 48, setting both Contenders and Champions teams a water maze challenge.

Is this Survivor Australia’s raciest challenge yet? On Monday night’s episode a number of guys from the Champions team stripped down to a pair of snug-fitting speedos

Explaining the challenge, the host said: ‘Six of you will race up a slide to fill a bucket with water. You will then slide back down and empty whatever water is left into a tube.’

He added: ‘When the tube is full, it will release a ball that the final two tribe members will navigate through a vertical maze. First tribe to get the ball through the maze wins.’

During the challenge, male members of the teams quickly noticed their clothes were slowing them down.

Showing an urge to win, former rugby league star Mat Rogers, 42, and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis, 42, both stripped down to tight-fitting speedos.

Host Jonathan couldn’t help but mention the champions going for a ‘wardrobe change’ as they raced down the slide.

‘Champions have stripped off,’ he started, and added: ‘They want to get more skin on that slide.’

The Champions ended-up taking home the win, with the Contender sent to Tribal Council for the third time in a row.

Elsewhere in the episode, it was a nail-biting challenge for Contenders Tegan and Anita, who were sent to Exile Island.

The two were each tasked with creating a Jenga-like structure, which they then had to try to knock down with a ball.

Tegan toppled Anita’s tower, and she was tearful after the win.

‘I’m feeling really sad, actually. You know, Anita didn’t deserve to go home today,’ she said.

‘And that she’s leaving, I feel guilty about it. And I’m really sad to see her go.’

Later in the episode, a tense tribal council saw Zach Kozyrski, 39, eliminated after making insulting remarks to the female members of the Contenders team.
