Matthew McConaughey sips mimosa on The Beach Bum set

Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey was spotted Tuesday sipping on a mimosa cocktail while perched on a Miami dock as Belgian cinematographer Benoît Debie filmed him for The Beach Bum.

Costume designer Heidi Bivens dressed the 47-year-old father-of-three in plunging, yellow tropical co-ords and Gianna Sparacino coiffed his wig for the seaside scene as his character Moondog.

The free-spirited, bongo-beating Texan seems a perfect fit as a rebellious stoner who enjoys joints, jaunts on hoverboards, and jamming with Margaritaville musician Jimmy Buffett.

Controversial filmmaker Harmony Korine wrote and directed the dramedy following his 2012 smash hit Spring Breakers – starring the equally eccentric James Franco – which amassed $31.7M.

Rap icon and Potluck Dinner Party host Snoop Dogg – who plays Marlon – has been eagerly sharing Insta-stories from behind the scenes of The Beach Bum set.

The 46-year-old Grammy nominee’s last movie role was playing himself in Andy Samberg’s 2016 mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.

The Beach Bum – due in theaters next year – also stars Isla Fisher as Moondog’s wife as well as Ricky Diaz, Angie Ghosen, Clinton Archambault, Joshua Ritter, and Jerry Ascione.
