Matty Johnson and Laura Byrne won’t move in together

After weeks of speculation, they are finally able to enjoy their relationship in the public eye.

But unlike The Bachelor couples who preceded them, Matty ‘J’ Johnson and Laura Byrne have revealed they don’t plan to move in with each other. 

The genetically blessed couple – who both live in Sydney’s east – said they are happy to take things at a more comfortable pace considering they don’t live far apart.

‘I feel like it is beautiful that we live close to each other,’ Laura told The Project on Friday night.  

‘It is not like other couples who have had to move from interstate and there is that pressure for it to move quickly. 

She added: ‘We can take it at our own pace.’ 

Meanwhile Matty said the pair will enjoy finally having a relationship that is no longer secretive.

He also confirmed on the program that the pair had previously crossed paths before The Bachelor premiere.  

‘On our first date we started to talk and we realised we had a few friends in common and we realised that we bumped into each other at a sauna,’ he confessed to The Project panel.
