Megyn Kelly is officially out at NBC with host walking away with her entire $69M payout – and a strict NDA that could kill hopes of tell-all

  • Kelly and NBC have parted ways almost three months after the host was ousted
  • Kelly will be walking away with her full $69 million contract, according to source
  • She is also still beholden to the original non-disparagement clause she signed when she took the job at NBC, source claims

Megyn Kelly and NBC have parted ways, almost three months after the host was ousted from her perch as the host of the third hour of Today.

‘The parties have resolved their differences, and Megyn Kelly is no longer an employee of NBC,’ the network said in a statement late Friday night.

Kelly will be walking away with her full $69 million contract, meaning she will be collecting a lump sum between $25 and $30 million, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Officially out: Megyn Kelly and NBC have officially parted ways. Kelly is seen out in NYC on Thursday night with her husband, Doug Brunt

She is also still beholden to the original non-disparagement clause she signed when she took the job at NBC said the source, which should hinder any attempts at a tell-all about her time at the network.

It is unclear given these terms why the negotiations took so long to finalize, especially since the terms of Kelly’s nondisclosure did not change.
