Mel B and Heidi Klum wear bold outfits to AGT finale in LA

It may have been the season finale of America’s Got Talent on Wednesday night, but all eyes were undoubtedly on the show’s female judges and their sartorial choices.

And making sure not to disappoint, both Mel B, 42, and Heidi Klum, 44, favoured bold outfit choices that were sure to grab the eye.

While former Spice Girl Mel looked ready to perform herself in a daring semi-sheer maroon frock, her supermodel pal made a statement in a chic lemon yellow floor-length gown.

Stealing attention away from the night’s talented acts, Mel commanded attention as she posed on the red carpet ahead of the show’s finale getting underway.

The mother-of-three opted for a risque frock that featured a semi-sheer bodice and mini skirt that sheathed her slender frame and came complete with a sequinned pattern all over.

From the waist lashings of material fell down towards the floor below, with Mel’s frock including a cape that draped over the starlet and billowed out behind her from her shoulders.

She then teamed her unusual number with a sultry pair of stone grey thigh-high boots that emphasised her lengthy pins.

Wearing her newly-dyed ice blonde locks in an edgy cropped style, Mel finished off her look with glamorous make-up that boasted a bronzed smokey-eye and a slick of lipstick across her lips to match her ensemble.

Boasting a flawless complexion, Heidi opted for a subtle yet striking beauty look that included bronzed cheekbones and a slick of lip gloss.

The German-born beauty appeared in high spirits alongside her co-stars, as she joined Mel and fellow judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandell at the Dolby Theatre.

Viewers saw 12-year-old Darci Lynne Farmer crowned the winner of the series with her singing ventriloquist act. She had stepped back on stage with her puppet, Petunia, and had been joined by former America’s Got Talent winner and fellow ventriloquist Terry Fator.

Terry had won the show’s second season and has since gone on to headline his own show in Las Vegas.

Darci performed her rendition of Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better) and had beaten 10-year-old singer Angelica Hale on the night to be crowned the winner.

The youngster had earned herself Mel’s Golden Buzzer during the first episode of the season, securing her a direct place in the live shows.

And clearly pleased with her decision to do so, Mel appeared chuffed by Darci’s win as she cuddled up to the champ backstage. Sporting a huge grin, Darci was clearly delighted as she then joined head judge Simon for a snap.

Meanwhile, show host Tyra Banks made sure to pull out all the stops for her finale appearance and dazzled in a nude-hued top and skirt combo for the occasion.

Tara paired together a sheer bodice, that came complete with glittering silver embellishments all over, with a dramatic puff ball skirt that billowed out around her model frame.

Drawing attention to her pins, the Canadian queen of country pop teamed her eye-catching frock with sparkly mesh tights and a complementing pair of knee-high suede black boots.

Her brunette locks were perfectly coiffed into a voluminous style and she was seen beaming from ear-to-ear on the red carpet, while striking up a slew of poses.

She had also joined show contestant Mandy Harvey on stage to perform a duet of her hit track You’re Still The One.

Shania wasn’t the only one to do so, as Kelly Clarkson showcased her vocal talents while performing her single Stronger alongside 10-year-old Angelica and Kechi Okwuchi.
