Mel B’s outing comes after her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte accused her of lying about the origins of her injuries, alleging she covered up wounds sustained as a result of her addiction by claiming they occurred at his hands.
In new legal documents filed by Stephen in order to obtain visitation rights for stepdaughter Angel, the film producer claims Mel lied about domestic violence in order to turn her daughter against him, according to TMZ.
Stephen cites an incident which occurred in 2014 in London, in which Mel claimed he had slammed her head against a door.

The film producer says Mel was actually hospitalized after overdosing on drugs, and had sustained bruises from an EKG and IV machine during her hospitalization – injuries he says she falsely claimed were the result of domestic violence.
Mel claimed in her petition last year that she was forced to pull out of The X Factor finale in 2014 because Stephen had beaten her up and caused her to take an overdose of Aspirin.
In legal documents, the popstar claims she took the drug in a ‘moment of emotional and physical exhaustion’ and she immediately regretted the action and tried to call an ambulance, but alleges Stephen blocked her attempt to get help.
She accuses Stephen of telling her to ‘die b***h’ and locking her in a bedroom with no phone access.

In the new documents, Stephen leveled a series of other accusations against Mel, alleging she would get so drunk she would walk into walls in the middle of the day.
The producer, who previously claimed in a legal declaration that Mel had a drug and alcohol addiction, also claimed the pop star would get so intoxicated she would attempt to pull down her pants and urinate in front of their children on the couch.
Mel previously accused Stephen of forcing her to have threesomes, but the producer says that too is a lie and that his ex-wife was a willing participant during the encounters.

He claims he possesses videos in which Mel is initiating and recording the encounters, and she even tells the camera, ‘That’s hot!’ and ‘I like it.’
Mel also recently accused Stephen of showing ISIS execution videos to her children.
In court documents obtained by The Blast , The Spice Girls singer is requesting Stephen be blocked from having visitation with Angel Murphy Brown, the 10-year old daughter she has with comedian Eddie Murphy, over the incident.
