Melania Trump traded Florida’s sunshine for Washington D.C.’s freezing weather on Martin Luther King Jr. Day as she returned home to the White House with her son Barron and her parents in tow.
The first lady was spotted boarding a jet in West Palm Beach on Monday afternoon after spending several days soaking up the warmer winter weather at Mar-a-Lago.
She was joined by her 12-year-old son Barron and her parents Viktor and Amalija Knavs.
Mrs Trump stepped onto the aircraft wearing a $5,000 Fendi striped knitted coat, while Barron wore a white long-sleeved shirt and carried his coat under his arm.
She had previously worn the ensemble during her and Donald Trump’s stop in Tokyo on their 11-day Asian tour in November 2017.

Her parents also wore jackets to board the plane.
They flew back to Washington D.C. where the temperatures were almost 50 degrees F cooler.
Melania made the trip to Mar-a-Lago last week just days after her husband canceled speaker Nancy Pelosi’s international travel plans due to the partial government shutdown.
She spent the majority of the holidays at the Florida estate even though the president canceled his Christmas plans in the wake of the shutdown.
The first lady hosted their annual New Year’s Eve party solo while Trump remained at the White House.
The President appears to be carefully picking and choosing where he’ll travel during the partial government shutdown.
Melania’s parents Viktor and Amalija Knavs also joined their daughter and grandson in West Palm Beach

‘It has been an unforgettable two years in the @whitehouse. I am honored to serve this great nation!’ she wrote.
The president retweeted his wife on Sunday evening saying: ‘A truly great First Lady who doesn’t get the credit she deserves!’
Their anniversary fell on Day 30 of the partial government shutdown, the longest in American history.
