Memo divided NSC and blamed ‘deep state’ for Trump attack

A seven-page memo written in May recently made its way to the desk of President Trump and outlines several concerning events happening within the ‘deep state’ and National Security Council.

The document, obtained by Foreign Policy, was authored by former NSC director of strategic planning, Rich Higgins, who was fired from his job last month after officials within the council learned it was created by him.

In the letter, Higgins said globalists, actors, bankers, Islamists and several other members of the ‘deep state’ have allegedly been working together to undermine Trump’s position of power.

The author of the memo, Rich Higgins, who was in the strategic planning office at the NSC, was among those recently pushed out

The memo was also said to have ties to the departure of former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who H.R. McMaster replaced in February.

The magazine states that McMaster, who let Higgins go from his job, was one of the members said to be working in the secret society. He was also reportedly aware it was written prior to the release.

Related sources confirmed the memo was found last month in Higgins’s email account during a routine security check within the department.

Higgins penned in the ‘POTUS & Political Warfare’ titled entry that the attack on the President stems from his ‘existential threat to cultural Marxist memes that dominate the prevailing cultural narrative.’

The source referred to the letter as a technical assessment for the current political affairs taking place.

‘While opposition to President Trump manifests itself through political warfare memes centered on cultural Marxist narratives, this hardly means that opposition is limited to Marxists as conventionally understood,’ the memo reads.

‘Having become the dominant cultural meme, some benefit from it while others are captured by it,’ while referring to the ‘deep state’ members.

‘The administration has been maneuvered into a constant back-pedal by relentless political warfare attacks structured to force him to assume a reactive posture that assures inadequate responses.

‘The president can either drive or be driven by events; it’s time for him to drive them.’

Last month, Trump expressed distaste for Higgins’ ousting as the strategic planning directer for NSC.

The President also released a statement after controversy erupted last week from his supporters in favor of McMaster being dismissed from his position within the council.

‘General McMaster and I are working very well together. He is a good man and very pro-Israel,’ Trump said in a statement last Friday. ‘I am grateful for the work he continues to do serving our country.’
