Michelle Bridges speaks VERY candidly about her failed 10-year marriage

Michelle Bridges is well-known for her relationship with fellow Biggest Loser trainer Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.

But the fitness entrepreneur was once married to gym owner Bill Moore, before their split in 2013.

In an intimate chat with Who magazine’s Who Are You podcast this week, the 47-year-old spoke candidly about the ten-year marriage and how it all unraveled.

Michelle married Bill in 2003, three years before shooting to stardom on the inaugural season of The Biggest Loser, which screened to huge ratings in 2006.

At that time, Bill had transitioned from owning gyms to working in the car industry with a friend.

Savvy Michelle meanwhile, was leveraging her newfound fame into business opportunities, telling Who’s podcast: ‘I had all these ideas, I had a book half written, I had ideas around fitness clothing, hard goods, DVDs, you name it.’

‘Bill was still working in the car industry, and I said to him, “one day I want to be able to get my business up and running so you don’t have to work there anymore, you can come across and work with me.”

Eventually, Michelle’s dreams became a reality, with Bill becoming her business manager.

However, their personal relationship started to become a second priority, as their professional obligations ramped up.

‘We were working 24/7, I’d started my ’12 Week Body Transformation program’ with another business partner, the show was on, books had to be written, it was getting really, really, really busy,’ Michelle stated.

‘Bill was trying to keep it all together, I was the face of it all. We both were agreeing that we were living with our business manager. We were going through the diary in bed in the morning.’

When asked whether that spelled the end of their marriage, Michelle sighed and stated: ‘I guess it was just a timing thing, really. We’re still great mates. We’re still in the same circle of friends. I still see him as a great chapter in my life’.

After their split, Bill continued to work in Michelle’s business for eighteen months, and the fitness queen says she ‘learned some really big lessons’ through her failed marriage.

The stunner subsequently began dating fellow Biggest Loser trainer, Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.

The happy couple went on to welcome son Axl, who was born in December 2015.
