The heiress of a housing empire was last night under police guard after she was savagely beaten in her own home.

Chloe Pidgley, 25, was beaten around the head with an oil radiator and punched and kicked in the face.

Ms Pidgley, the granddaughter of Berkeley Homes founder Tony Pidgley, also suffered broken fingers when a door was slammed on them as she tried to flee.

Her attacker then threatened to return to her flat in Kensington, West London, with acid.

It is thought police are trying to track down her ex-boyfriend Antonia Glan-Carlo Chianca, 29, for questioning, according to The Sun.

Ms Pidgley split with Mr Chianca four months after meeting through the Chelsea set.

Her mother, Denize Hewitt, 53, said her receptionist daughter call for help during the attack.

She told The Sun: ‘She screamed down the phone. I dialled 999. I thought she would be dead.’

She said the attacker texted apologies to Chloe while she recovered in hospital.

Ms Hewitt added: ‘Her attacker told her he was going to get some acid and come back to disfigure her. She is very worried.’

Ms Pidgley and her sister Chantelle, 26, have both received a ‘coming of age’ fortune of £1million each.

Their grandfather Tony (pictured) is estimated to be worth £310million. Father Tony Jnr married Ms Hewitt after they met at a Monte Carlo casino.
