Despite being in incredible pain, Annalise joked about the incident in a post to Instagram.

‘Got lit but not in a fun way!’ she wrote.

‘If it wasn’t for my leaping straight to the kitchen sink and turning on the tap pouring water over my jumper that went up in flames, I might not have had a face or hair or even a kitchen…’ she said in a separate post.

Upon receiving treatment at the Concord Burns Unit in Sydney’s west, she expressed relief on not having to undergo plastic surgery.

She also thanked the hospital’s medical staff for looking after her ‘sizzled wrist’.

Despite her high-intensity week, Annalise retained her trademark positive attitude following the ordeal, telling followers:

‘Here’s to a safe, healthy, happy, fun and love filled delicious weekend for us all,’ she said in a post on Friday.
