A mother has saved the life of her daughter’s adorable puppy from a 1.2 metre python before casually tossing it in the garden. 

Carolyn Kong from Brisbane knew she had to rescue the 12-week old Jack Russell puppy when she saw the carpet snake wrap itself around the animal. 

‘I didn’t really think about it. It was quick and it had wound itself,’ she told Nine News.

‘As I grabbed him, I felt the snake wrapped around him.’

‘I wouldn’t suggest it, because it can be dangerous,’ he said.
