Mother shamed for red-eyed baby wearing mascara photo

A mother has incensed fellow parents after she put mascara and eye shadow on her baby daughter to promote beauty products.

The woman posted images to a Facebook group, showing her child with red, watery eyes after she placed the products on her eyelashes. 

A member of the group was so enraged by the post that she shared it on Reddit on Wednesday, shaming the mother.

‘I’m so angry and crying. Why would you do this,’ she wrote in her post. 

‘The baby’s eyes are so red even with the filter trying to tone it down.’  

Reddit users were also enraged by the post and have since slammed the mother as a ‘child abuser’ who needs to be arrested for the act. 

‘This is child abuse. No buts or ifs. This is just child abuse. The person who did this to the baby needs to be arrested,’ one furious Reddit user wrote.

The original post shared to Facebook by the mother said: ‘When your baby girl has amazingly long lashes you make them even longer with your younique 3D fiberlash mascara. Bamm! Supa long lashes.’
