Suburban mothers have shared the embarrassing details of their young ones catching them in the act.
Mothers surveyed from Sydney’s North Shore revealed they’d been caught in a variety of awkward scenarios and forced to think quickly when confronted by their children.
More than a quarter of women admitted to being ‘sprung by children’ with one detailing the moment her daughter walked in while she was performing oral sex on her husband.

‘I was giving my husband a blow job, and my daughter walked in and stood there and then asked why is mummy’s head down there going up and down (whilst she is doing the movements with her head),’ she wrote wrote.
‘I wanted the ground to swallow me up, I was beyond mortified.’
Another mother said her child had entered the bedroom undetected during the couple’s love making session and decided to join them in the bed.
‘We never heard the child come in the room I just suddenly felt her in the bed next to us! I’m not sure exactly what she heard or saw – she was very young,’ she explained.
An inquisitive two-year-old demanded his father apoligise to his mother after witnessing what he believed to be him ‘pushing her over’, another mum said.

In a more defiant move, an eight-year-old girl apparently stood in her parent’s doorway ‘bemused’ after walking in on them being intimate.
‘I’d had two very noisy orgasms and my hubby had just come. We were cuddling but still joined. We just grinned and asked if she was OK. She looked bemused and just stared at us for a minute,’ the mother wrote.
‘Then I just said good night, hubby got up to go the bathroom and she slunk off back to bed herself.’
Another parent said her naive eight-year-old entered the bedroom during coitus and stated ‘something smells fishy’.
‘I nearly lost it… thank god my husband didn’t,’ the mother wrote.
In the ‘sex survey’ women also shared exactly how much sex they’re having and some of the less traditional places they’re getting it on with their partners.
Perhaps unsurprisingly things between the sheets cooled off after they started having kids, but that doesn’t mean they’re not getting frisky at all.
About 80 per cent reported having sex at least once a month and 44 per cent have sex at least once a week.
Interestingly, a further 39 per cent give oral sex at least once a month, but 48 per cent receive it during the same time frame.

For those who don’t have a lock on their doors 69-ers were out of the questions, with 76 per cent saying they hardly ever had sex in that position (while three per cent said it’s a weekly activity).
The majority of the time (48 per cent) it’s the man in the relationship who initiates sex, whereas 17 per cent said it was the woman.
While having sex with their partner 26 per cent orgasm every time, 31 per cent most times, 14 per cent half the time, 16 per cent occasionally and 13 per cent sadly said they never have an orgasm.
And the easiest position to get off in? Missionary.
While these statistics are fairly tame it was the question about where these suburban mums are having sex that led to some unique answers.

‘On the boardroom table at the law firm I worked at! My partner also gave me oral sex while I was working in my office with the door closed one evening while there were still people there,’ one woman recalled.
‘Ayers Rock (yes seriously),’ another added.
So while the vast majority are still getting their kit off behind closed doors an adventurous few are turning things up a notch.
