NC dad is beaten in front of kids in road rage attack

A North Carolina father-of-four was brutally beaten in front of three of his children during a road rage attack that left him needing reconstructive surgery for his eye socket and cheek.

The man, who wished to only be identified as Brock, said he was driving down Interstate-77 in Mooresville last month when a male driver became angry when he didn’t let him cut in front of his vehicle.

‘He pulled up next to me, and proceeded to scream at me from his car then, abruptly swerved over, forcing me to lock breaks otherwise get hit by him and go into a concrete wall,’ Brock wrote on Facebook.

Brock said he tried to get the man to stop near an exit where he saw a cop.

Near Highway 150 and Highway 21, Brock, who alreadly lost one son this year, got out to talk to the man about endangering his children.

‘After a heated discussion I walked back to my car with the intention to call the cops and he attacked me from behind,’ Brock wrote.

The father said he only turned around because a woman in the man’s vehicle yelled ‘No! Stop!’

‘Hearing her scream “no” is what made me turn around just in time to get hit in the face,’ he said.

Since the horrific July 28 attack, Brock said he’s undergone reconstructive facial surgery.

He needed a new eye socket and three titanium plates in his right cheek. Brock said he doesn’t have feeling in most of his face and his nerves ‘may heal themselves or may not’.

Brock said he was able to get a partial plate from the man’s vehicle, which he believes was a blue Mazda CX-3.

He said he posted the photos of the attack on Facebook in hopes of finding someone who has information about the other driver so that he can report the man to authorities.
