NFL Network exec rushes to scrub his Twitter account

An executive with NFL Network has hurriedly deleted dozens of Twitter interactions with prostitutes and porn stars before wiping his account entirely.

David Eaton, the 53-year-old Los Angeles-based vice president and executive editor for NFL Media, appeared to spend hours on Tuesday deleting the Twitter conversations from years ago, Deadspin reported.

Eaton’s account disappeared entirely by the afternoon.

The purge came just a day after NFL Network suspended three analysts when they were accused of sexual harassment and groping by a former wardrobe stylist.

Eaton, who runs online news for the NFL-owned cable TV network, was not among those accused of wrongdoing in the lawsuit filed on Monday by stylist Jami Cantor.

But insiders told Deadspin that Eaton’s unusual Twitter habits had long been a topic of discussion among his co-workers.

Married father-of-three Eaton joined NFL Network in 2011, after previously working as a bureau chief for ABC News.

Screenshots of the tweets show Eaton engaging in mostly PG banter with sex pros, who often as not simply ignored his remarks.

‘Always better to be “over” than “under” when it comes to hills,’ read Eaton’s baffling response to Zoey Holloway, the star of such adult films as MILF Madness and Lesbian Lawyers.

In another tweet to Holloway, Eaton responded enthusiastically to a snap of the porn star’s décolletage.

‘They are great reads,’ he replied to one account with a topless female avatar, which had tweeted about the ‘Night Soldiers’ book series. ‘Pay attention to the various characters – a number of them return in books you’ve not yet read.’

Eaton had other exchanges with high-end escort Kristen DiAngelo, former escort Olivia LaRoux, and the account ‘GotHookerProblems’.

Eaton did not respond to Deadspin’s request for comment and could not be reached by DailyMail.com.

On Monday, NFL Network was rocked by sexual misconduct allegations, when Cantor accused multiple employees of groping and other lewd behavior.

Former players-turned-NFL Network analysts Marshall Faulk, Heath Evans, Ike Taylor and Donovan McNabb were named in a sexual harassment lawsuit by Cantor, who worked for the network from 2006 through 2016.

Then on Wednesday, former NFL Network reporter Lindsay McCormick, 30, came forward to claim that her job interviewer had demanded to know if she was going to get ‘knocked up immediately’.
