‘No way, man!’ Seth Rogen reveals he REFUSED to take a photo with Paul Ryan

Comedian Seth Rogen has revealed how he rejected Paul Ryan’s request for a photo as the Speaker of the House’s children watched on.

The actor said he was first approached by Ryan’s two teenage sons – who appeared to be big fans – last month while at an event to promote brain health hosted by Mitt Romney in Park City, Utah.

The 36-year-old took a photo with the teens but they then told Rogen that their father wanted to meet him.

‘I turned around and Paul Ryan was walking towards me,’ Rogen said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

‘My whole body puckered, I tensed up and I didn’t know what to do,’ he added.

Rogen said he shook his hand but when Ryan asked for a photo, he said: ‘No way, man!’

The actor went on to share his feelings toward the republican’s policies.

‘I couldn’t stop, and I said, ”Furthermore, I hate what you’re doing to the country at this point and I count the days until you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have,”’ the actor recalled.

He did say he felt ‘conflicted’ with Ryan’s children looking on as it unfolded. ‘I look over and his kids are standing right there expectantly, clearly fans of mine,’ he said.

However, he offered some advice, telling Colbert: ‘It’s not their fault but at the same time they should probably learn that if they like a movie or song the person who made that probably doesn’t like their dad that much.’

The comedian continued: ‘Unless they’re watching Roseanne re-runs or something like that.’

Though the situation was uncomfortable, Rogen asserted that he is ‘glad’ he ‘didn’t take a picture with Paul Ryan.’

After the encounter, Rogen was slotted to speak about Alzheimer’s disease at the event to promote brain health.

According to the star, Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci was also in the front row and the comedian did not hesitate to take a crack at him.

Rogen said he used humor to make light of such a devastating disease and recounted the joke he made on stage.

‘We’re here to talk about Alzheimer’s – which for anyone who has a brain – it’s a potential threat,’ Rogen reiterated his joke from that night. ‘So Anthony Scaramucci is in the clear.’
