Mr Golossian’s father, Tony, was convicted of raping two women while claiming he could free them from black magic curses through prayer, Nine News reported.

He was known as a ‘holy man’ within the Greek Orthodox community in Sydney.

Between 2001 and 2008, he told the two victims their family would fall ill and die if they ended their sessions, ABC reported.

The women were raped a number of times in Sydney’s inner-west but they were told they were experiencing a dream.

When he was found in guilty at the NSW District Court in 2011 and jailed for 20 years, a violent brawl broke out with Mr Golossian and two of his brothers attacking police.

This is not the first time the Golossian family has been hit in a targeted shooting – a house was hit in Dulwich Hill in 2012.
