At 0.183, the woman’s reading was almost four times the legal limit.

However, for the 37-year-old and her Fijian companion, a one brush with the law wasn’t enough to curb their escapades behind the wheel.

Forty-five minutes later, the same Holden Captiva was again spotted by police, allegedly with the twosome still inside.

This time the 52-year-old male was at the helm and was presented with a roadside breath test at Mascot Police Station which he allegedly failed.

And his reading of 0.159 was almost on par with his female counterpart, at over three times the legal limit.

Due to his status as an overseas resident, the Fijian man had his his visiting driver privileges within, in addition to being charged with high-range drink driving.

And while his female companion is set to face court in September, the one-time passenger will too feel the force of the law and is expected to appear at local court in August.
