Paul Gascoigne was ‘found naked in a dressing room’ before a chaotic appearance on Soccer AM last weekend.
The ex-England footballer was found in a ‘state of undress’ by a make-up artist in a communal dressing room before going on the morning talk show on August 11.
The 51-year-old slurred his words when he chatted with host John Fendley, raising fresh concerns about his health after a long history of battling drink and drugs.
His appearance was cut short after 45-minutes when the presenter said Mr Gascoigne had left because he ‘wasn’t feeling wonderful’.

A source told The Sun: ‘One of the production crew had gone to get him a shirt and jeans while he got undressed from the clothes he’d arrived in. When a senior make-up artist came in he was in a state of undress.
‘They thought it was Gazza playing a joke but he seemed genuinely confused and it was an honest mistake. He clearly thought the area was just for him.’
They added that he was directed to somewhere he could get dressed privately ‘immediately’.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star later said he had simply been suffering the effects of sleeping pills.
He tweeted: ‘Ha just read some of the tweets some say I’m looking well others say it’s the best they’ve seen me and others are saying i was drunk it’s every time I’m doing well that’s ok I been taking sleeping tablets to try kip that all love GAZZA xxxx.’
Earlier in the week it was reported that he and girlfriend Sara Lovett, 49, an art gallery owner, had ended their relationship after a few months.
