A Pennsylvania woman has celebrated her 94th birthday by going skydiving along with her granddaughter and great-granddaughter.

Williamsport resident Eila Campbell says she figured she might not ‘make it for another year’ at her age, so she took the 10,000ft (3,048-meter) plunge on Sunday at Hazleton Regional Airport.

‘This year, when I’m going to be this age, this old, I figured I’ll never make it for another year,’ Campbell said to WNEP 16.

‘I better do it now.’

Granddaughter Sarah Schuelke and great-granddaughter Jess Fox also jumped. Each woman jumped separately but in tandem with an instructor.

‘This was her bucket list and there was no way I was missing the most incredible matriarch jumping for one of the greatest families,’ added Sarah Schuelke.

‘I wasn’t going to miss it.’

'This year, when I'm going to be this age, this old, I figured I'll never make it for another year,' Campbell said to WNEP 16

The owner of Above the Poconos Skydivers Don Keller – who holds the Guinness Book of World Record for the most skydives at over 44,000 – said he’s never seen anyone as old as Campbell jump.

The woman truly had guts.
