In an interview with BW magazine in May, Phoebe confessed that motherhood has been ‘tougher than I realised,’ claiming Instagram is ‘pretty inaccurate.’

‘It’s definitely a lot tougher than I realised,’ Phoebe said of the trials and tribulations of raising a child.

‘Before I was in the motherhood trenches with Poppy, I had the Instagram version of young motherhood which is pretty inaccurate and only a snapshot of the good moments.’

While Phoebe herself also posts plenty of glossy Instagram snaps of her young family, she confessed it’s not always as glamorous it seems.

She later continued about an unfortunate tale while shopping in Sydney’s ritzy Paddington area, where her tiny tot ‘let rip’.

‘Poppy let rip and her poo-nami oozed down the side of my jumper and jeans, all over her second outfit for the day (mum’s know that’s it then) and my hands,’ she said, joking about the incident.

Phoebe, who is a graduate of Sydney University, tied the knot with Sam in a lavish ceremony in the NSW Southern Highlands.

Up to 200 guests attended the wedding – including actor Russell Crowe, other rugby league stars including Greg Inglis, Lote Tuqiri, Steve Menzies and Dylan Walker, and Michael Maguire, the coach of the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
