A pilot testing out a new Airbus A380 is clearly feeling extra festive as he or she has spent hours drawing a giant Christmas tree over central Europe.
The Emirates Airbus A380 has been flying in a path shaped like a Christmas tree, complete with baubles since lunchtime on Wednesday.
The festive route of the plane was first spotted by online flight-trackers such as Flightradar24 in the afternoon.

The plane was not on a commercial route, but being tested for Emirates Air.
It took off from Hamburg’s Finkenwerder airport at 12.47pm (11.47am GMT), and soon began ‘drawing’ a tree over Germany.
‘Airbus is drawing a giant Christmas Tree over Germany, during a test flight of an Airbus A380 for Emirates,’ FlightRadar24 tweeted.

The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest passenger airliner, and Emirates is its biggest customer with 142 ordered aircrafts.
