Polar bear cub and mum play in the snow in Finland

  • The super cute pair were photographed frolicking in the snow at the Ranua Wildlife Park in Finland 
  • The cub spent a lot of time sleeping but when it was awake it was playing in the snow and jumping on its mum
  • Their playing went on for about two hours after which they fell asleep in each others arms  

As Christmas approaches, it’s not just we humans who are getting into the festive spirit.

This super cute cub has been caught on camera playing, cuddling and falling asleep with its mum, just like a real toddler.

The adorable baby polar bear can be seen covering its mums eyes and play fighting in the snow before the playful youngster receives a big cuddle.

The endearing duo then look lovingly at each other before stealing some quick kisses and peacefully falling asleep together.

The pictures were taken by John Daniels from Dunsfold, Surrey, who as on a trip to Ranua Wildlife Park in Finland when he spotted the adorable duo. 

‘The cub spent a lot of time sleeping but when it was awake it was playing in the snow and jumping on its mother,’ said the 64-year-old.

‘This would go on for about an hour or two before it got too tired or the mum got fed up. It was great to watch.’
