Police appeal for vulnerable teenagers missing in Bristol

  • Alfie Brimble, 14, and Nela Brinbezga, 13, went missing on Sunday and Monday
  • Alfie is said to be ‘vulnerable’ and police are concerned for their welfare 
  • He is described as white and around 5ft 10in tall, with dark hair and hazel eyes
  • Nela is white and of slight build, with light, long brown hair and was wearing a blue Nike top and pink jeans

Police are concerned for the welfare for two missing teenagers and believe they may be together. 

Alfie Brimble, 14, went missing from his home in Bristol at around 1.30pm on Sunday, October 22 and has not been seen since.

Avon and Somerset Police have now said they believe he may be with 13-year-old Nela Brinbezga, who disappeared on Monday, October 23.

Officers says they believe the pair are travelling around Bristol on buses together. 

A statement from the force said: ‘We issued an appeal for help finding 14-year-old Alfie yesterday and we now believe he may be with Nela.

‘Both are vulnerable and we’re concerned for their welfare.’

Alfie, who lives in Hartcliffe, is described as white and around 5ft 10in tall, with dark hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing blue jeans, a grey hoody and a multi-coloured top when he went missing.

Nela, from Horfield, is described as white and of slight build, with light, long brown hair. She was wearing a blue Nike top and pink jeans when last seen.

Anyone who sees Alfie or Nela is asked to call 999 and give the reference number 5217 241 576. Anyone who thinks they know where they might be should call 101.
