‘I was living in Port Macquarie and I had a P.O Box but by the time it was delivered I’d moved up to Queensland,’ Ms Corby told Daily Mail Australia.

‘It was meant to be redirected to my new address, but for some reason they just put a card in the box still,’ she said.

‘On June 29 someone went in with the card and signed for it.’

Ms Corby said she typed a letter to the new owner of the post box, asking them to return the bracelet.

‘The post office has you on camera collecting this parcel. ‘This parcel was not for you as it was addressed to myself,’ Ms Corby wrote in the letter.

But when she still did not receive the bracelet from the person who had signed for it at the post office, Ms Corby went to police.

In considering continuing Connors’ bail, Magistrate Brett Thomas noted she had ‘shown a desire to continue the relationship’.

‘The accused has kept a relationship with the subject involved…for a substantial period of time and appears to want to continue that relationship,’ Mr Thomas said.
