William, 51, meanwhile wore a casual costume of a grey T-shirt and faded blue jeans.

The TV reboot continues The Karate Kid franchise that started with the original 1984 movie.

The half-hour comedy takes place 34 years after the original and follows down on his luck former bully Johnny as he re-opens the Cobra Kai dojo on a search for redemption.

He crosses paths with successful Daniel who is trying to find balance in his life following the death of Mr. Miyagi.

Ralph and William in addition to starring also are executive producers of Cobra Kai.

The show’s title gets its name from the Cobra Kai dojo founded by Johnny’s former karate instructor, or sensei, John Kreese.

It was Kreese who ordered Johnny during the All Valley Karate Championship to perform an illegal move on Johnny in the original movie.

‘Sweep the leg. You have a problem with that?,’ Kreese told Johnny during a break in the championship fight.

Johnny followed orders and attacked Daniel’s injured left knee but an injured Daniel still remained in the fight.

Daniel then scored the winning point with a Crane Kick to Johnny’s head and was handed the trophy by past-champion Johnny.

Cobra Kai is scheduled to premiere in 2018 on YouTube Red.
