Rapper XXXTentacion has been jailed on seven new felonies stemming from his domestic violence case.
The 19-year-old — Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy — was arrested in October last year on charges of aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation and false imprisonment.
According to People, earlier this month he filed a document supposedly signed by the alleged victim — his ex-girlfriend — saying she no longer wanted him to be prosecuted and she would not testify.

Prosecutors were skeptical, leading investigators to arrest him for violating his bond, on charges of witness tampering and witness harassment.
He had pled not guilty to the original charges.
His lawyer, J. David Bogenschutz confirmed to the Miami New Times that his client was in custody, and that the state attorney’s office had been ‘looking into the validity’ of the alleged victim’s statement.
According to TMZ, the Florida-based rapped could face decades behind bars.

He already served six months in jail last year for armed home invasion, robbery, and aggravated battery with a firearm.
In June of this year he was knocked unconscious after being sucker-punched while he was performing in San Deigo.
During the incident, which was caught on camera, a man rushed the stage while he was mid-song, punching him in the side of the head, leading to a chaotic brawl.

In September of this year he sparked further controversy when he released a music video depicting the lynching of a young boy.
The video for Look at Me shows him fitting a noose around the young blond-haired child’s neck and raising him off the ground on a stage, where he twitches before going limp.
He claimed the video — which also recreates the racially-charged killings of Emmett Till and Philando Castile, the attack on Rodney King and the killing of protester Heather Hyer in August — decries racial violence across the board.
