Recovering ice addict Harriet Wran has been arrested for drug possession two-and-a-half years after she was released from jail over the death of a drug dealer.

The daughter of former New South Wales Labor premier Neville Wran was arrested in Wyong on the Central Coast at 1.30am on Wednesday.

She was bailed to appear at Wyong Local Court next Wednesday charged with possessing drugs, carrying suspected stolen goods and not displaying her P-plates.

Wran was jailed for her role in a robbery which led to the murder of drug dealer Daniel McNulty.

Mr McNulty was stabbed to death in his squalid inner-Sydney housing commission flat in August 2014.

Wran’s ex-boyfriend Michael Lee, 37, was sentenced to at least 13 years for the ‘senseless’ stabbing murder.

Lloyd Haines, 31, who knew Lee had a knife but did not think he would use it, was jailed for at least 11 years.

The trio went to the unit to get drugs and spontaneously decided to rob Mr McNulty which led to a violent struggle between the occupants and Lee and Haines.

Wran was arrested after a sleepless six-day ice bender and served a two-year minimum jail term for being an accessory after the fact of murder and robbery.
